Brain Breaks~  Great source for kid-friendly videos to get everyone up and moving!  Great way to use technology and pop culture to our students' advantage. Each video link a special kid-friendly filter from SafeShare.TV, so preview at school to avoid any system glitches.  My favorite is Madagascar’s ‘I Like to Move It’ video!

With the letters in "homework" and a starting and ending decorative flag, there are 10 flags in all. When the banner is complete, give the class extra recess, a homework pass,or whatever incentive works for your classroom. The toughest part of this plan-- laminating the reusable flag pennants. Great, new twist on a tried-and-true idea!

On average, kids need to earn about 60 numbers to clear a row. Love this idea!

Highlight the puzzle's hidden words & circle the first letter of each highlighted word in another color. Next, number the letters of the puzzle's first column & last row to form axes. On the back of the puzzle, write an ordered pair to identify the circled letter of each highlighted word. Laminate.
